Seyond™ designed and developed LiDAR car-side application perception software based on the OmniVidi platform, mainly for L2 and above passenger car/commercial vehicle assisted driving and automatic driving applications. It has the ability to detect and recognize forward dynamic and static objects and can meet the semantic understanding needs of smart cars for driving scenes, accurately perceive lane lines, curbs, road surfaces, etc., to make smart driving decisions and the driving experience more comfortable.
Intersections
Seyond Intersection Management Platform (SIMPL) is a comprehensive intersection management solution that uses advanced LiDAR technology and artificial intelligence to accurately detect and analyze the presence, trajectory and speed of all road users at an intersection. A cost-effective alternative to inductive loops, SIMPL optimizes traffic flow through the intersection and provides cities with real-time multimodal data and analytics.
Highways
With the rapid development of socio-economy and the continuous increase in highway mileage, the issues of frequent accidents and traffic congestion have become increasingly prominent. Traditional sensors on highways are no longer able to meet the growing transportation demands.
Seyond’s highway solution is based on high-performance image-grade LiDAR technology, providing comprehensive and high-precision vehicle perception and event detection capabilities to customers. Its intelligent road analysis ensures the safe operation and traffic efficiency on the highway.
Vehicle Overlimit Management
Based on Seyond’s high-performance LiDAR and algorithm, OmniVidi for VOM provides 360° 3D perception with high-precision of vehicle 3D size information for traffic management.
This is a revolution on redefining the solution of monitoring oversized vehicles. It can be applied to various scenarios like state highway, bridge, and tunnel etc. to prevent accidents or impacts on traffic flow caused by height, length, and width violations.
Rail
Traditional rail transit safety measures mainly rely on physical barriers and security personnel. In recent years, emerging monitoring methods such as electronic fences and intelligent video surveillance still have limitations such as short monitoring distance and high false alarm/missed detection rates.

Recently, with the acceleration of infrastructure construction, the number of bridges has increased continuously, and incidents of ships colliding with bridges have occurred frequently, causing huge economic losses. Therefore, proactive collision warning for bridges has gradually gained attention. On the other hand, the informatization of waterways is relatively low, and it’s urgent to transform from traditional manual management to digital management.
Seyond’s shipping solution, based on high-performance image-level LiDAR, provides 7×24H, all-weather, high-precision monitoring of waterways. It provides enforcement departments and bridge maintenance personnel with ship traffic flow information and bridge collision warning information. Through ship-shore collaboration and early warning, it effectively prevents incidents of ships colliding with bridges, and assisting in the informatization of waterways.
